Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Management, the Manager of Brand Management's primary responsibility is to lead the execution of the annual brand plan for an assigned menu category.
Specific accountabilities include but are not limited to:

Analyses of industry data, consumer research and internal sales metrics to develop key insights and implications that fuel development of the Brand plan;

Development of detailed test marketing plans to achieve stated objectives;

Leadership of cross-functional teams to test and implement new products or programs;

Writing of internal communications, including product/communication briefs, charters, business cases, etc.; and

Execution of national tactical marketing communication programs.
This position will have high interaction with the Wendy's Advertising Production and Merchandising and Media teams, external agency partners and company field marketing and operations teams.
This position will require up to 10% overnight travel.
Based in the Columbus suburb of Dublin, OH, The Wendy's Company operates over 6,000 company and franchise restaurants. This position will be based at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center in Dublin, OH.

Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing required; Masters in Marketing or MBA preferred
- 2 years of experience in marketing brand product management for a national retailer, restaurant chain, or Consumer Packaged Goods organization, to include management of Advertising Agency partners in communication development required
- Demonstrated expertise in marketing financial analysis and business case writing required
- Demonstrated skill in project management and leading cross-functional teams required
